About the shopping and beauty parties by Maju and Beauty in Lagos

Our pockets, wallets and bank accounts were quite busy yesterday withe the shopping and beauty parties put together by Maju and Beauty in Lagos.

These were 2 distinct parties at 2 different locations both on the Island. One was all about the stylish Maju pieces but on the side, we had the Oriki products on display as well as Vane Polish while the other was beauty themed with ladies shopping beauty products, getting manicured and pedicured with a few lessons on gele tying and makeup demostrations.

At Maju, we were quite disappointed not finding the popular ‘wink’ bag which has become our favourite Maju piece. We really hope that they get it back in the new year. However, we were able to get a cute little bag for a friend and then a top and skirt that our team picked out for Oma’s closet. We also got us the Vane nail hardener which will be part of the review content for the new year. 20151220_17075420151220_170659_001-1 20151220_170734-1 20151220_170742-1

At Beauty in Lagos, the crowd was quite smaller than the first but still classy, interactive and informative. We found the ladies getting their pedicure for N3,500 which comes with a free polish change for your finger nails. If you wanted to get a stick on done, that would cost you N4000 and then a polish change cost N2000. China Glaze was also in the building selling their polishes alongside Ardell lashes, sizell, Yanga beauty, R and R luxury and others. We stopped by Yanga beauty to get a beauty blender and by Sizell for the Jamaican castor oil. 20151220_175451 20151220_173750 20151220_174127-1 20151220_173413-1 20151220_173423-1

We met the gele tutorials which people were quite excited about and then Mary Jane of Zaron Cosmetics was in the building with Joanne. There was the live demonstration by Zaron Cosmetics which the ladies and the few men did enjoy.

We are looking forward to many more stylish and beauty parties in 2016!
