Sunday the 19th of November, 2017 was all about #BAAD2017 on Instagram as Banky Wellington, Nigeria’s finest R&B music artiste tied the knot traditionally with Adesua Etomi, a Nigerian actress. Both acts were in the record breaking movie, The Wedding Party as a couple. Little did the world know that their roles in the movie was actually set to be a reality until the duo made their engagement public earlier in the year and got everyone looking forward to this moment.
The wedding was strictly by invite, as was expected which made me wonder why anyone thought to make it news. A wedding that people were already trying to con people to buy tickets to attend. The duo certainly had God on their side because not even the venue was made public by any of the invited guests which should reduce the number of ‘mogbomobranch’.
Speaking of invited guests, Instagram was lit. Abeg if you are on my asoebi train, kindly follow the hashtag and get some inspiration. If you are planning to get married or you have a wedding to attend, please, follow the hashtag. And if you want to know the best looks according to my sense of fashion, please scroll up!

Stephanie Coker has been bringing her A game to the gram lately and this time she went withh Style Temple, one of Nigeria’s finest designers. The dazzle on this outfit can better be appreciated when you watch the video she posted. The outfit had so much going on but was done in such a classy way.
Ubi Franklin came suave in OminiStitches and the army green shoe was definitely the highlight.
Spotted the touch of black on another lady and wasn’t quite sure how I feel about it but withh this Fablane by Derin, I sure love it on Beverly Naya.
Anuel Modebe stepped out in Talade Bespoke but the cap is what actually caught my attention.
Looks like Omowunmi Akinnifesi had her fashion house tailor this and they certainly nailed it. You need to rep your brand all the time.
With Tee-Y Mix, it was more about the color sitting right on his skin tone. His agbada was however tailored right by Benny Wadada.
Osas Ajibade be making us forget that she just had a baby with this banging body in Iconic Invanity.
I left this for now because Noble Igwe is no newbie when it comes to the style scene. He definitely comes correct and this time, he has Trax Apparel on. Is there one accessory you can fault? None! From the stick to the shades and the shoes….. it is NObs people!
Emelia Jane was the very first we spotted on the gram and she sure looked great. Her dress was tailored by Tubo.
