This Global Day of Parents, June, provides an opportunity to appreciate parents for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship.
I fully align with Universal Peace Federation (UPF), a global body that supports the UN resolution noting that the family has the primary responsibility for the nurturing and protection of children.
The universal resolution further affirms that children, for the full ad harmonious development of their personality, should grow up in a family environment and in an atmosphere of hapiness, love and understanding; for our almighty God is love.
Let’s appreciate our parents if they are alive and provide fond memories of them if they have since passed.
