Empowering Women-Led SMEs in Africa through Growth4Her

Creative Space Startups, a forward-thinking non-profit organization, is excited to unveil the opportunity for 100 women-led SMEs in Nigeria and Cameroon to join the third cohort of Growth4Her. This initiative, led by a consortium comprising Creative Space Startups, SocioCapital Impact Group, The Learning Gate, and ActivSpaces, is set to redefine investor readiness for women entrepreneurs in the tech-savvy landscape.

Driving Growth with Tech-Powered Support

Growth4Her stands out as an accelerator program tailored for women entrepreneurs, equipped with cutting-edge strategies and tools to propel their businesses to new heights. The program boasts a proven track record, with previous cohorts witnessing participants evolving from small enterprises to high-potential, fundable growth-stage businesses.

Bridging the Gender Financing Gap in Africa

In a region where women entrepreneurship thrives, Africa faces the challenge of providing adequate support for growth, especially in terms of funding. Addressing this, Growth4Her, backed by the African Development Bank’s AFAWA initiative, aims to narrow the $42 billion gender financing gap reported in 2021.

Program Highlights for the Chosen 100

The 100 selected women entrepreneurs will be immersed in a dynamic program offering capacity building, mentorship, psychosocial and policy support, access to funding, media exposure, and market outreach across Africa and beyond.

Eligibility Criteria: Tech-Forward and Inclusive

To qualify, businesses must meet specific criteria, including at least 51% ownership by a woman, a woman in a C-Level Executive role, or a board with a 30% female representation. Additionally, eligible businesses must have 5 to 300 employees, operate in Cameroon or Nigeria, and report annual sales between US$35,000 and US$15 million.

Application Deadline: March 6, 2024

Tech-savvy women-led SMEs are encouraged to apply before the deadline. For detailed information and application submission, please visit www.growth4her.org/apply.
