Funmi Ayinuola and Abel Chukwuma met a couple of years back when she had just finished her IT and was waiting for school to resume. It usually is a time when you need a lot of activities going on in your life lest you get bored which was Funmi’s situation. Luckily, she got a call from a friend in South Africa who was about to put her out of her boredom not just for the time being but for life as he introduced her to the man she has come to fall in love with and looks forward to calling her husband on the 11th of July, 2015.
In Funmi’s words, “When I first met Abel, he was really supportive and caring in ways I can’t even begin to explain and that was how I fell madly in love with him. He taught me what true love is and I thank God everyday for bringing such a man into my life”.
For the proposal, Abel didn’t do the traditional engagement neither did he go on one knee. “We just became very close and started planning our future together. Then he bought a ring, gave a speech and we got engaged. I’m over the moon about my upcoming wedding and most importantly,I’m grateful to God for giving me my soul mate”.
