Magazine Focus: Genevieve, Mania and Tw

TW_March_Cover-1

We have tried to select some magazines that we could lay our hands on for the month of March and will just highlight our thoughts on them and maybe give you a reason or two to ask your vendors for any of them. In view this month are Genevieve Magazine, Mania Magazine and tw Magazine.

Mania hit the streets first which was pretty much dedicated to the AMVCA and its stars. Smart move there from the publisher and a good publicity platform for the AMVCA. Next came tw magazine celebrating Nollywood and particularly, the ‘sexiest’ actress in Nollywood, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde as she clocks 20 in the industry. Genevieve recently hit the streets but had earlier published its cover for us to see and we are loving the designer they picked; one who we have been opportune to see how she works and can say that she makes it easy for the media to do their work. We presume that Dimeji Alara didn’t have so much stress styling Lanre Da Silva Ajayi and he may not have needed to hunt for pieces since she is a designer ‘xtraordinaire’.

Our best read in the tw magazine was the hair spread which tried to assist ladies who keep their hair in its kinky state. For Mania, it has to be the article by Gbenga Akindele-Nelly on Don’t Waist Your Time which was pretty much about the tiny waist which women strive to get. In Genevieve, the piece on outstanding women caught our attention.

Generally, if you would like to view lots of pictures and get ideas on shopping to do, pick a copy of Mania. We love the artistic works inside of it but then, Kelechi Amadi is an awesome photographer and having Godson as his editor is superb! If what you want is in depth knowledge on all aspects of life from Money to nutrition, relationships and even education, tw is your best bet. And if you want to know better about the Veteran designer as well as get to see some products out there that are being advertised just for your consideration, grab a copy of Genevieve.

If you have read any of these magazines or any other and wish to further enlighten us, please drop your comments and don’t forget, our giveaway is still running. See the banner for details!
