Magazine round up: Stylish women cover the September issues of top magazines in Nigeria

Earlier today, we revealed the cover girl for Blanck Magazine’s triple dose of fierceness for its September issue. Just as the day went on, top magazines  in Nigeria took online to unveil its September cover stars.

Spotted online was the first ever luxury issue of tw Magazine featuring Aisha Oyebode, a luxury entrepreneur responsible for bringing Pandora Jewelry, BO Concepts Furniture and most recently Modan Luxury Fashion to Nigeria.Aisha Oyebode for tw magazine

Next was Monalisa Chinda and Fathia Balogun, both gorgeously dressed in red as they cover the September edition of House of Maliq. While Monalisa tells us about the secrets behind her beauty and her new talk show, Fathia spoke on staying relevant in the entertainment industry over the years. Monalisa Chinda on ouse of Maliq

The youngest cover girl for this month thus far is DJ Cuppy for Zen magazine. Clearly sticking to her print style on the cover of the magazine, the story seeks to unravel more about Cuppy beyond the headlines on the tabloids. DJ Cuppy on Zen magazine

Just before we called it a day, Genevieve Magazine released its cover and guess who? It is the ever stylish Lisa Folawiyo of Jewel by Lisa, a designer whose outfit many look forward to having in their closet. Lisa Folawiyo fr Genevieve Magazine

These magazines are more than the cover stars as they contain so many other interesting features from the press releases we have come acros thus far. Genevieve Magazine for instance, features Genevieve Nnaji, the actress, Ene Maya Lawani, the Milliner and Fade Ogunro, the OAP. tw magazine has its fashion pages showcasing ALARA. If you missed our feature on that store, click HERE. There is also the Pratical Girls Guide featuring Uru Eke.

One thing that comes highly commendable is the fact that most of these magazines have done well to release their covers earlier than usual. This is a step in the right direction and we are hoping that they follow it up by making this available on the streets immediately as we will be on the lookout to see what magazines our vendors have with them.
