Okafor’s Law
The very controversial movie by Omoni Oboli seems to be doing very well for itself. From what we hear, it is the story of some law concocted by Chuks (Blossom Chukwujekwu). A law that he applies in playing the field with girls even from his past. He gets challenged by his friends to try it out with 3 ladies from his past which he accepts. Find out if the law actually gets to work when you buy a ticket and see the movie *smiles*.
Omugwo
Speaking of controversy, Kunle Afolayan releases this one, Omugwo. Omugwo is actually an Igbo tradition where the mother of the man and the woman get to visit when the woman gives birth. In most cases, it is the mother of the woman. In this movie, both mothers actually come for the Omugwo at the same time. Rather than bring relief to the lives of the couple who has just given birth, you can already guess what went down when Patience Ozonkwor is on the cast.
Desecration
This is all brand new with Rita Dominic and Joseph Benjamin as the major cast. It looks like we are looking at a romantic movie highlighting a fling gone wrong.
