Recipe and Benefits of Ginger Tea

The best thing about this ginger tea recipe is that the ingredients can easily be picked from the farmers market.

One of the perks of being abroad is the restriction that comes with getting drugs over the counter. You pretty much need a doctor’s prescription for most of the pills. This is why I try to travel with a mini drug pack which contains some of the medications that I may need should I come under the weather. This includes something for running stomach, headaches, fever and sometimes, for allergies. However, on this trip, I might have left behind medications for cold. Hence, the ginger tea recipe.

Ingredients:

Water
Lemon
Honey
Ginger powder

How to Prepare Ginger Tea:
  1. Put a cup of water into a kettle or pot
  2. Boil the water
  3. Pour the boiled water into a cup
  4. Include a tea spoon of ginger powder
  5. Add a tea spoon of honey
  6. Put a few drops of lemon juice
