Fashion on the EMMY Awards covered a wide spectrum with an extra splash of silver and feathers this year! The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles to celebrate American television.
The red carpet barely gave us a second to catch our breath with stylists going all out to create both fun, glitz and glam in the dresses of everyone present at the event, especially Zoe Kravitz in her Dior Haute Couture rainbow coloured V-necked dress that just made her look phenomenal and absolutely stunning.
It did not leave out Tracee Ellis Ross and Anna chlumsky though, who graced the carpet in daring fluid dresses and long shiny numbers.
Nicole Kidman’s red Calvin Klein By Appointment dress with pleated bodice is sure to be the talk of the town this season. The halter with a neckline supported by glittering crystal rope made her look both feminine and classy at the same time.
I especially liked Reese Witherspoon’s navy Stella McCartney coat dress. She looked sexy in a subtle way, her red lipstick definitely offset her looks.
The black shimmery patterned cap sleeved Carmen Marc Valvo Couture gown that Tina Fey wore looked dazzling and beautiful with a touch of feminism.
Halston Sage’s Zac Posen white dress looked sleek and just about right, it especially matched her Chopard jewels quite beautifully.
Samira Wiley looked absolutely radiant in a custom Christiano Siriano maxi dress with Sophia Webster shoes finishing the look! Her clutch definitely brought out the classiness of her entire look.
Priyanka Chopra’s Balmain dress though. if you are looking for a statement-making absolutely attractive, strikingly beautiful dress, then look no further than Priyanka’s. The quilted duvet-like dress made her definitely stand out on this year’s Emmy award red carpet.
When it comes to taste, Shailene Woodley definitely has beautiful tastes. Her Ralph Lauren emerald velvet dress with its V-neckline looked absolutely sensational.
Gabrielle Union sure took the whole ‘little black dress’ look to a new level. She graced the red carpet with her husband Dwayne Wade wearing a black beaded cape gown with a sheer full-length skirt from Zuhair Murad.
She then topped off her look with a dazzling diamond neck-piece and strappy black Buccellati heels.
Apparently, Tessa Thompson got the rainbow memo that Zoe Kravitz must have sent because she also decided to adorn the red carpet in a pleated metallic rainbow lurex dress by Rossie Assoulin.
Claire Foy really did go all out in her attire this year, she was spotted in a black Oscar De la Renta stretch wool gabardine jumpsuit. Its crystal embroidered rope gave a distinct flair to the entire outfit.
