We had such an amazing viewing on the beauty brands and today, our professionals are talking about their favourite foundations.
Foundations are a very important part of our makeup routine. Just like the name sounds, it is that makeup upon which all other makeup products rest. It is sometimes used to hide facial imperfections in the absence of a concealer. In some cases, it works perfectly when that a concealer is not required. To this extent, it is important to buy one that is close to your skin tone. One brand that we have tested on this platform and can confirm that it suits the skin tone of many in this part of the world is BlackUp.
The BlackUp brand is said to have been carefully formulated for the women of color. We will be bringing you a review of that but now, let’s hear from Oyinda and Tosin. [hr gap=”1″]
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
I love this foundation because it gives a natural glow to the face and it is lightweight with a light coverage that is buildable to suit the finish you want.
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation
This is my HOLY GRAIL foundation, I adore this it. I have been using it for over a year now and I haven’t changed it. It gives a very natural matte finish and lasts all day. Also, the coverage is buildable plus it just works well with my skin.
Black Opal True Color Creme Stick Foundation
This foundation is perfect for women of colour, they come in various shades and match the skin undertone really well. They are affordable and are perfect for cream contours.
Mary Kay TimeWise Matte-Wear Liquid Foundation
If you have extra oily skin, this foundation is perfect for you, it last all day without any touch ups and has a matte finish.
PS: These are foundations for oily skin but they are my all time favorite.[hr gap=”1″]
My favourite foundations are Revlon Colorstay, Classic and Mary Kay.[hr gap=”1″]
