Growing up, our mothers or physical and Health Education teachers probably taught us how to calculate our menstrual cycle while helping us to understand how our mother works. At least my mum did using a calendar. She did show me how to calculate my cycle and by so doing know when to expect the next period such that you are not taken unawares and have one of those red embarrassing moments on your dress.
Today, it becomes even more important particularly for women who are married such that they can track their ovulation period and determine the days when they have higher chances of getting pregnant when they have sexual intercourse with their husbands. That way, you either ensure that you engage in that activity to increase the chance of having a child or avoid it so that you prevent the chance of conceiving a child. In most cases, these calculations may not be 100% accurate but they definitely have a higher accuracy rate. However, I have discovered an app that has worked for me for the past 2-3 years called, My Calendar.
My Calendar is a period tracker which is available for download on Google Playstore. It is the highest rated period calendar with a rating of 4.8 stars. It helps me to keep track of my menstrual cycle. You can also use to record your sexual activity, weight, temperature, symptoms or moods.
You know how some apps can just pop up in public and reveal information that is embarrassing? You can protect the information on this so that you never have such a moment. Also, the information backs up on Google such that when you change your device, the information can be restored on your ew device. I have used way over 3 phones since I started using the device and each time I change, I have my information restored on the new device.
To download, simply visit Google Playstore and search for My Calendar. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm if it is available on other app stores but if there is one that you use which has proven effective and efficient, please list in the comment section below so that we can all learn.
