Over the years, Frankfurt has paid host to one of the biggest international trade fair, Heimtextil- A home textile fair that acts as a barometer of trends, showcasing high quality textiles with edge cutting designs made from innovative materials. This year wasn’t any different with over 70,000 visitors in attendance and 3,000 visitors from 70 countries. Of those exhibitors, VEBA Textile Mills was one of them.
VEBA Textile Mills ranks among the most important producers of jacquard woven cotton fabrics which makes it no surprise that they participated in the fair . With an impressive stand, the brand showcased its new trendy collection of home textiles.
A Significant part of the display at VEBA’s stand was also dedicated to the latest fashion collection of the renowned Czech designer Beata Rajská which has been created in collaboration with VEBA. An old towel with hand-made embroidery of the initials of her mother served as the main source of inspiration for the collection. The designer also created her own initial that has been the link attribute for the whole collection.
The material used is printed cotton brocade with jacquard micro-design. By transferring the motive – the initial “b” – on bed linen and terry towels, a new idea of creating a stylish collection in limited edition has emerged.
