When we got the invite to this event, we were not expecting all the fun that we had. We had thought we were in for just another beauty event which we are simply expected to attend, listen to the beauty tips and leave with goody bags. However, the second edition of the Luxury Beauty Brunch was so much more than that.
Held at Rhapsodys Victoria Island, the founder of the concept who is also the Chief Executive Officer of World PR Media Limited, Tayo Afolabi, mentioned that the guests had been told to bring their fabulously fun self. According to the organisers, the Luxury Beauty Brunch was conceptualised as an avenue to discuss (through various complementing activities) the growing trends in the beauty industry and the stakeholders adding value to the chain.
We got treated to an amazing insight on the skin and hair by experts in that field including Tokunbo Chiedu (MD of Compass Consulting and Head Liaison for Design Essentials), Ms Arinola Adeniyi of Venivici Spa, Mrs. okoye (MD of Cookie skin) among others.
As a parting gift, we got goody bags stocked with products from Design Essentials, Veni Vici spa, Exquisite Magazine, Insignia home and fragrances and the best one for us was the shea oil from R and R. We look forward to the next edition but for now, here are a few pictures below:
