Applying makeup is never done right except the right makeup brush is used but of the many, there are essential makeup brushes.
The essential makeup brushes are those which we believe that every lady should own. You don’t have to be a Makeup artiste to own a powder brush. This is the most essential brush as everyone needs to brighten their faces and the powder does it all.
Oyinda Akinyera, the CEO of Honey’s touch shares her essential makeup brushes with us.
My favourite sets of brushes have to be face brushes. Personally, if the face looks good every other thing would fall into place. Also, face brushes can be used for the eyes as well; I like the versatility of these brushes. If you’ve been following the beauty challenge, you would know off 4 out of these brushes and why I love them.
Real Technique Complexion Miracle Sponge
This my all in one wonder, from liquids to powders, this sponge does it all. I use it when I want a very flawless and natural look. I use it for foundation, concealer and cream contours. Also, to set my highlight, this sponge is simply one of the best sponges and its worth the price.
Real Technique Expert Face Brush
Now, this is my going out foundation brush, works just as great as the sponge. It works well with powders and liquid but I personally prefer it with liquids. The brush is really soft and easy to use. It’s a must in everyone’s kit.
Elf Complexion Brush
This is my HOLY GRAIL powder and I’m sure you guys already know. It sets the face perfectly to remove shine and works great with or without powder on it.
Coastal Scents Large Angled Brush
this is my powder contour, blush and highlighter brush. This brush makes the application of these products flawless and helps blend everything together removing all harsh lines.
Elf blush brush
This is a tapered brush and is great at reaching the inner corners of the eye. This is the brush I use to set my concealer and to remove the excess powder and apply face powder sometimes. The brittles are soft and there is no shedding, so this brush is a win! Affordable and Good!
