6 makeup products for the Christmas season

As the festive season creeps up and the parties start happening, we need to make sure we are glam ready for every event.

This week I will be sharing 6 makeup products for the Christmas season. With these products you are always Glam Ready for every event.
1. Gold eye shadow:

According to the empower-yourself-with-pyscology.com, the color “Gold” is the color of “success, achievement and triumph. It is also associated with abundance, prosperity, luxury, quality, prestige, sophistication, value and elegance. The psychology of this color implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.” During the season, Gold is one of the dominant colors used to create Christmas decoration and It’s a must have in my makeup bag because of the beauty it brings to the eyes.

2. Silver eye shadow:

The color silver is said to signal a time of reflection and a change of direction as it illuminates the way forward. It is also a color known to have feminine energy; it is related to the moon and flow of the tides – it is fluid, emotional, sensitive and mysterious. It is also soothing, calming and purifying. This is another dominate color during this season and It is advisable for ladies to have both Gold and Silver shadows because it is not everytime that the outfit will be compatible with both eyeshadows.

3. Eye Liner:

Eyeliner should be every ladies best friend. It brings definition to the eyes and sometimes can be used to create the famous smoky eyes, which is also a party look famous.

4: Lashes:

I always encourage my clients to learn how to apply false lashes because they tend to flatter the eyes. I love the Demi wispies by Ardell lashes because they look very natural. In the picture below I actually doubled my lashes because I like some volume. This illustrates how light they can be therefore it will be comfortable for ladies who love the natural look but want to still want to flatter their eyes.

5. Bronzer:

Regardless of the season, Bronzers are a must have because of the added glow they bring to your face. I always recommend having both the matte and baked bronzers. The Baked bronzer is used to highlight and the matte is used to contour the face.

6. Red Lipstick:

Every Girl needs to have one red lipstick just the same way they say every girl needs to have a short black dress. This is one color that just changes the entire makeup look. If you are unsure what shade of red will fit you, it will be advisable to meet a makeup artist who can help you in figuring out what shade of Red will work for you. I always recommend Stila Liquid Lipstick or Ruby Woo ( M.A.C) because I am yet to see someone who these lipsticks have not looked good on.
