Emmanuel Ikubese, a humanitarian with a high flier attitude and the former Mr. Nigeria, is set to be a guest speak at the 7th edition of the African Women in Leadership Conference.
Emmanuel who was highly considered for this part due to his Project R.A.W (‘Respect A Woman’), a campaign set to ominously condense the rate of domestic violence in our society, will be speaking on how domestic violence can limit women in attaining their bursting potentials, encouraging women to begin to speak up and lend their voices towards this ground until domestic violence is no longer preserved as a minor crime but taken seriously by the government and law enforcement agencies.
The African Women Conference in Leadership Organization is an event that brings together the first ladies of all African Countries, Women in business, Life coaches, Reputable Consultants and other African Women in top leadership positions, to network, intermingle and grow in all aspects as a conference with an experience never perceived before in Africa. This year, it will be taking place at Marriot Sugarland Texas, USA between the 12th to the 16th of August, 2015.

Coincendentally, today is Emmanuel Ikubese’s birthday and we join the Mariam Adeyemi Company to celebrate his good work particularly his laudable project, RAW. RAW is set to create awareness on domestic violence through the media as well as setting up a rehabilitation program where victims can be helped and properly counselled and also a place where lawyers will be provided for free to victims who wish to press charges but can’t afford to.
