For the first time in history, The Beauty Reports is partnering with the Beauty Therapy Institute on a campaign to further highlight the growth in the beauty industry in Nigeria. This partnership goes beyond profiling the dynamic services of the institude as it is aimed at encouraging individuals to take up careers in the beauty industry by awarding scholarshps.
Since inception, The Beauty Reports has been known for profiling key trends and stakeholders in the Beauty Industry while the 21 year old Beauty Therapy Institute (BTI) with over 10 campuses worldwide is reputed to offer the highest standards in education and training in the health, beauty and skincare industry, offering international certification for its learners in the acquisition of knowledge and skills. Their highly qualified international educators offer Beauty therapy courses such as Anatomy and physiology, Manual and electrical facials, waxing, manicure and pedicure, makeup, nutrition and body assessment, nail technology, cosmetic science, microblading, and many more.
In order to showcase the aforementioned, both commpanies have decided to hold a 2day event on the 16th and 18th of November 2017. Day one will focus on the needs for standards in the industry, having an international overview of the beauty career, the right way to make and sell skincare (touching on cream mixing and the chemistry) and anatomy and physiology as the foundation of beauty therapy while the second day will focus on profiling the subject matter of the “anti-aging” market in a special Tea Party and a dinner to round up all the interesting activities. Both days will feature special speakers and renowned beauty industry experts, charged with the responsibility to change one’s view of the beauty industry in Nigeria.
Scholarships will ignite the end of the campaign and will be presented to two lucky individuals by both the Founders of The Beauty Reports (Tayo Afolabi) and The Beauty Therapy Institute (Dr Ifeoma Abajue and Dr Eyitope Ibare-Jones).
